The
Kennel Building
We are in
the process of adding a two-story building to our property to
accommodate both Garrett's wood working and the hobby kennel.
Quick
details about the new building:
-
The
building will be 60' long x 36' wide (the kennel room will be
24' x 36')
-
There
will be six indoor/outdoor kennel runs with radiant floor
heating for the indoor runs.
-
Each
of the outdoor kennel runs will be 36' long x 6' wide and fully
covered.
-
The
second story of the building will become Wendy's office and our
game room.

The siding goes
up and doors are installed
(we merged two pictures
together so unfortunately there is a bit of a blur where they didn't
match perfectly)

As you can see by the
picture of our home above (taken last June when we started clearing
the land for this new building),
we chose exterior
building colors to complement each other.

December 14, 2008:
first snowfall of winter
September 21, 2008:
trenches are dug for the utility lines
September 12: roof
tiles are finished
August 26: roof tiles begin to be
installed
August 6:
second floor goes up
July 28: continued work on the
building frame
July 23: building
frame starts to go up
July
11: construction begins
June
21 - 22: breaking ground
